Travis 42 Apex
Built to fit your room, not fight it.
The FireplaceX 42 Apex stands as a pinnacle of high-performance, clean-burning wood fireplace engineering, functioning more like a localized utility furnace than a standard hearth. This massive, clean-face fireplace features an extra-large viewing door available in either a classic clean-face or a stately arched cast-iron design. At its structural core sits a heavy-duty, brick-lined firebox capable of handling massive 24-inch logs to deliver incredibly long, continuous overnight burn times. It utilizes advanced catalytic or highly refined secondary combustion systems to achieve an exceptionally low emission profile that easily clears strict EPA clean air regulations. The 42 Apex pumps out a commanding maximum heat output of up to 74,000 BTUs per hour, making it capable of heating large, open-concept homes up to 2,500 square feet. A unique, standard-included variable-speed 400 CFM convection fan works dynamically to rapidly push warm air throughout the home’s ductwork or living zones. It features an advanced airwash system that continuously sweeps the large ceramic glass clean to ensure an unblemished view of the roaring fire. Built with uncompromised, thick-gauge structural steel, the 42 Apex is a lifetime heating investment for the serious wood burner.
